Always sad to learn of a young person leaving us too early- and more so when that person is one of "us." Remember that before there can be politics or funding or hardware or spaceflight, it is "we"- people like Colm- who keep the dream of space exploration alive. |

Dear collectSPACE MembersMany thanks for all your messages of condolences to the Cannon Family. It was only in the last while that Siobhan & I have got to meet his family and therefore that is why I am only expressing my gratitude now. I would like to inform you the Cannon family are deeply appreciative of all your messages of sympathy. They were moved by the kind thoughts and messages of support from all over the world. The Cannon family have asked me to send you special thanks. Both Siobhan and I are deeply grateful that everyone was so thoughtful. A tree will be planted in Colms memory in St Stephens Green Dublin.
