Trying to find out how many time we're spending on collectSpace website ...
Let's make it easy and put this in Minutes/Week ;

well I work away for three months and home for two...
My wife works all day, kids at school, Ed sat here, has nowt better to do that read every post. Sometimes I have 3 months to catch up on.

Still a total novice at this hobby.
For me 60 to 90 minutes a day. :-()

30 to 60 minutes a day, seven days a week. It depends on how many new posts there are and if I want to contribute to a discussion. I have lots of free time.

Hi-all you cs-ers,
Myself- I spend most evenings taking a look-
depends how busy we are-most nights between
45-60 mins, after 10.0pm, this is with the time zones difference- and enjoy every minute- its great for the chat-getting to know other members, and who knows, we shall meet one day-infact I am looking forward to getting together with some of you at the Air and Space Show in May.
Thanks to Robert-this is world wide- and very enjoyable.
Robert- Thank you-so very much.
regards to everyone from

Hmmm... good question. I would say about 1200 minutes per day, 8500 per week, give or take a few hundred minutes.

Probably about 15 minutes a day for me...longer if I've missed a few days.

So how many of you spend that time on CollectSpace while at work?

At least 30 mn-days, but then I might post, or follow links, or do some web research inspired by my CS reading. So it varies greatly. But a day without CS is a very rare occurence. At least once a month, I'll pull an all-nighter at it...

about 30 minutes a day... It is one of the sites I check each morning.

I do admit, however, that the FIRST site I go to is comics.com to see the "Red and Rover" comic strip. It is a great cartoon about a boy and his dog with many space related subjects.

Somehow, I'm here often enough to spend way too much time here, but rarely enough that I always miss out on the really good deals in Buy/Sell/Trade.

No more than 30 minutes daily, scattered throughout the day.

Just a low-grade addiction, I guess. I do own a CollectSpace polo shirt, and sport a pin on my AOPA cap.

What else is there to say? It is "the place for space".

Robert should have precise statistics about average visiting time, even broken down to how many seconds/minutes each and every page has been viewed.

I think I am the winner...
I start my computer on 20.30 GMT, opens 3 space (and autographs) sites and sit there till 00.00 GMT. Every day. In the mean time I work on my site (http://users.pandora.be/sv-4b/sv4b.htm), am busy with my work for the Belgian Aviation History Association...but every ... minutes I click to the space sites...
Have I won now anything ? (I can need a travel bag for the day my wife wil dump me )

It is! And a growing one. More than once I've checked cS first thing in the morning, before I've even checked my email. Scary.

Well, for 2006 I'll be heavily down-sizing my time on collectSpace !
The last five years have been with an average 450 posts per year...
Happy New Year to all cS forum-readers !
