Join Skyscrapers, Inc. in the celebration of the 125th anniversary of Seagrave Observatory's 8¼” Alvan Clark refractor and it’s restoration. After 125 years of continuous observational use, Skyscraper members have just completed a major restoration under the direction of master craftsman Alan Hall. The telescope has been returned to the original appearance and condition as when it was received from the Alvan Clark factory in 1878. In celebration, the Antique Telescope Society will host a regional gathering in conjunction with AstroAssembly. ATS members will exhibit a variety of antique and vintage astronomical instruments.
