Hey -- Don't leave me out!!! Haven't missed...as a personal eyewitness...a live Shuttle launch or human space ascent since the first Apollo flight in 1968--and this will include STS-105/Discovery/ISS Flight 7A.1, however, there may be a 3-4 day delay in the start of Discovery's mission. More to come as a decision on that development should be made in a day or two. Why don't all the attending AstroNuts meet at my place sometime before or after the launch...but we'll have to pinpoint a precise time that hopefully everyone can meet together. Let me know as I can readjust my schedule even though I'll be working the mission and seeing other people--usually not a problem.See ya all next week (if we even go, ha)... Ken Havekotte |

Ken:<LOL> You know I didnt leave you out as a slight. I just figured you live there and NEVER miss a launch (I have a cover from your first 100 launches to prove it you need to sign for me....<G> )so that was a gimme! Ill contact you offlist to set up a meet. After the launch would be better for me, how about for you? Best, Al |

Al--Of course, no hard feelings in leaving me out as I was mostly kidding anyway...but meeting afterwards is usually best for me as well. I know that Jimmy (are there any others?) will have to retrieve his remote camera gear after launch, but hopefully everyone could possibly meet at my place late that evening if Discovery goes or not. I would say anytime after 8:30 and we could visit until midnight if possible. What do you think, Al, and others ??? |

Sounds like a WONDERFUL plan to me, and I appreciate your generosity. Although I hope everyone has the good taste to leave before midnight....<G>Thanks! Al |

Great, Jim! And you are not only taking and putting online pictures of the launch but also of the meeting at Ken's place afterwards - so that we (all of us who won't be attending) might be able to put names to faces ... !? Kirsten

Now would you like me to send you a photo of a similar meeting that Mr. Esders documented about 5 years ago??? ------------------ Cindy |

I remember that get together. It's always fun meeting others, putting faces with names. I'm looking forward to this week, and sharing the pictures with everyone afterwards.James |
