I've created a poll on The Astro Nuts egroup site that is open to members & non-members alike. I asked which is your favorite autobiography or other space related book? So please cast your vote in this new poll. Here's the link: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TheAstronuts/surveys?id=10127612

ENJOY!!

Doc/Mike,
For me that would be a VERY close second, but I've got to go with Gene Kranz. Never have I read a book placing more credit where credit is due and taking blame when it is to be taken than Kranz has done here. All done, I might add, without the aid of a "ghost". This is talented writing.

I'll be different and say Michael Collins' "Carrying the Fire".

Why hasn't this topic been placed on the "Books/Publications" line ? <G>

My favourite one (of the known published in English and I read) is "The Right Stuff" by now. Am reading through Fallaci's "When the sun has died" right now, then will be taking my German "We Seven" version - as soon as my time allows me to.

Happy reading, Kirsten

So far I have enjoyed A Man on the Moon and Return to Earth. I also enjoyed Dragonfly about MIR. I have a very large pile of space books to read probably in excess of 20 - my next book to read will be Tom Kelly's book Moon Lander.
