Tom Member Posts: 1667 From: New York Registered: Nov 2000	posted 11-21-2022 08:56 AM Was wondering if anyone here has ever seen a photo of the original Apollo 3 back-up crew: Charles Conrad, Dick Gordon and C.C. Williams? At the time of their selection (late '66 early '67) they were assigned with the prime crew of Frank Borman, Michael Collins and Bill Anders.

Williams (back) is in foreground, the other two are facing on the left. Schirra is over on the right. I'm not certain who the test subject is, but Dave Scott did some of the early A7L/spacecraft mockup compatibility tests, so maybe him.
