I've seen my fair number of flown Gemini capsules, but never an unflown service module. Just curious, but are there any flight ready Gemini service modules on display out there? |

I am not aware of any "flight-ready" adapter sections, but the Boeing Prologue Room displays a Gemini "engineering development fixture," a mockup which was modified during the program to reflect the spacecraft and adapter section of the "current" spacecraft.I have a number of pictures of it on my website. |

It's great to see there's a "complete" Gemini still left. Thanks for the terrific photos, what a treat. |

I believe that the volunteers who were involved with the SaveSkylab.org campaign a few years back had reported that when they were looking into some shipping containers beside the Skylab trainer, they stumbled upon a Gemini re-entry module. The interesting thing about this Gemini re-entry module, from the photo that I saw was that they found that it had a different retrorocket configuration and what looked to be a tunnel segment, which I thought would indicate that it might have been associated with the MOL program. Maybe some of the cS readers who were involved in that effort to save the Skylab trainer could shed more light on this Gemini re-entry module that was found and if it is on display now at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. |

Thanks so much for the photos - they're great!Ditto the comments regarding the spacecraft. Perhaps like Korea, the 'forgotten war', we could reintroduce the Gemini programme to its descendants. |

I saw an incomplete Gemini Adapter shell in storage at the Smithsonian Garber facility a few years ago. It was in need of a paint job, but otherwise looked good. |

Fantastic photos of a wonderful piece of equipment, thanks for sharing. I have re-lit and color corrected one of the shots which I post below. If you'd like other shots treated similarly let me know. |

Thank you mikej for posting these photos. This is exactly what I had in mind. I'll make a point of seeing it in person somewhere down the line. |

Is the Boeing Prologue Room open to the public? I haven't heard of it before this. |

This is only a mockup here at the San Diego Air & Space Museum, but it also gives visitors a good idea of what a complete Gemini spacecraft would look like. |
