I have a book, "Footprints On The Moon." Inside is a handwritten letter and stationery card that appears to be written by Richard (Dick) F. Gordon Jr. (Apollo 12), addressed to Budd and Bessie Collins.

Bessie Collins worked at "The Daily Pantograph" in Illinois. Also attached is a clipping from the Daily Pantograph, written in 1969, probably by Bessie. The clipping is a story about Michael Collins (Apollo 11).

The only thing I can come up with is that this book/letter/card is a "thank you" gift from Richard Gordon Jr. to Bessie Collins for writing about Michael Collins.. but I'm not sure. Oh, also, whoever owned this book also attached a clipping from the "Chicago Sun Times" about Alan Bean.

Do you have any thoughts on this? Thank you in advance!
