I recently purchased a job lot and found some interesting pieces. I contacted Steve Z for some quick opinions and received mixed feedback. I was hoping to hear your opinions on these signed pieces, any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

I never comment on Armstrong cover signatures, even with ones that look perfectly fine. 🙂But the Apollo 8 Orbit cover, I wouldn't touch with a barge pole. |

Since you asked, and just my own personal observations, I don't like the Gemini 8 signed photo and certainly not the Apollo 11 Whitney cachet cover with Armstrong and Collins, but Aldrin does look better. And am not too keen with the GT-8 USS Boxer signed cover and I don't care to collect any later-style Apollo 8 crew signed material with Bill Anders, even if the LMP had a photo of him signing in person. I only collect his earlier signatures. |

I thought as much about the Apollo 8 orbit cover and the Apollo 11 Whitney cover but I’m struggling with the two Gemini 8 pieces and the ‘bill Anders’ signature, I feel like I could have easily absorbed them into my collection. |

I know my opinion doesn't matter much, but they all actually look okay to me... |

Steve Zarelli is 'the' man for passing judgment on Armstrong signatures. I'm sure he has seen many dubious examples. |
