I've REALLY enjoyed the Two Space Collectors Collecting Space podcast, which spurred me to submit an Armstrong signature to Steve Zarelli.

Fees and registered mail both ways and insurance runs about $160, so I'm starting by posting here for brief free opinions, then I'll submit to Steve for email consideration ($12).

Superb signed/unpersonalized page from a notepad of the Buena Vista Palace, Walt Disney World Village. Signed in blue ball-point ink on light grey paper approximately 8.5 x 5.5 inches, slight bump to lower right corner.

Backside features printed note recommending the Outback Restaurant.

The Buena Vista Palace opened March 3, 1983 - Disney Village changed its name to Downtown Disney June 20, 1995. I presume this signature was done 1983-1994 (when he stopped public signing).

50/50. Some aspects I like, a couple of points look slightly odd... but all Armstrong signatures look a bit dodgy to me.

I'd forego the free opinions and leap straight into the Zarelli email opinion if it was mine.

Agreed on getting Steve's opinion.

Is this an unusually large example of his signature?

The size was one of my issues with it, but the notepaper it is on is quite small, so may engender an illusion of greater size!? But yes, it does 'look' enormous...

It's a little larger than average (would not quite fit on a 3" x5" card) but not unusual - it did pass Steve Zarelli's quick email opinion, so I shipped it off to him earlier this week...

I've seen this larger type sample of Neil Armstrong's autograph and would not be surprised if Steve clears it (okay).

Well, good look with it. I hope you get a favourable opinion.
