I have the Mercury, Gemini, all Apollo sets except for Apollo 8, and the X-15 set. My opinion as a collector of space related items as well as antiques is when something is not produced anymore the value goes up. With that said there is a market for all things and the market fluctuates. Mark Gray and Spacecraft Films stopped producing these dvd sets a few years ago. Sometimes one came find them on eBay or even Amazon (the price differences can be dramatic and a little excessive). One has to take into consideration the condition of the DVD and the ability to play them on a device. Although DVD players are still readily available they are not as many as there once was. Technology is changing rapidly. I personally love DVD's and keep a couple new players still in the box packed away for a rainy day.
In my opinion I feel currently the market for them would be what you gave for them new. Perhaps a few dollars more or a few dollars less due to their limited availability. However, if in the near future DVD players become obsolete to purchase new and the sets are offered streaming they could be worthless unless someone just has a mindset to own it to look at the box and shiny DVDs. How much are VHS tapes worth today thanks to DVDs?
If you are looking to sell them there is always someone out there who will pay your price even though it might take a little time. If you are looking to buy them you have to ask yourself how much you really want it at a set price. Personally, I love the sets Mark produced and have watched all of them repeatedly so for me the value is on the higher end.
