Came across these three items up for auction from Dalshire International (bidding through Live Auctioneers), and in case anyone here thought to bid on them (thankfully, doubtful), for them to be evaluated here by anyone who cares to chime in. I believe all are (clearly) poor forgeries and likely all three manufactured by the same individual(s), but in case others want to have a say, here they are:
  1. Apollo 11 Crew Signed & Inscribed American Flag

  2. Apollo 11 Astronauts Signed 11x14 Color Print

  3. Apollo 11 Astronauts Signed 3x5 Lithograph

Didn't Neil Armstrong have a thing about never signing on the U.S. flag?

Yes... he also had a thing about not letting a total stranger sign things for him, or for the other members of his crew.

So sad that people will bid on these not knowing.

That's why I don't normally collect signatures unless they're signed for me by the person in front of me. I've only ever paid for one signature (Al Bean).

All times are CT (US)
