Just noticed these questionable Apollo 14 Lucite displays on eBay from China. Both from China for under $35. No details. Noticed the same ones a couple weeks back with a limited number of seven. Buyer beware. |

He has many such fake listings. I reported each item to eBay. |

I noticed quite a few listings tonight that looked like reposts of old sales including description details. All sub $30 BIN, from China, and with a 0 rating and just one item for sale each. |

Looks like they have been removed. Good to see eBay responding. |

Did you manage to get a picture at all? Would be good for reference sake. |

These aren't images from the auction, but show the style of the acrylic displays that were pictured. The auction was fraudulent, but the Apollo 14 Kapton acrylics pictured were from a small set of privately-produced displays by Michael Key and Jeff Hoppert. The Kapton (and an associated set of panel plugs) were obtained via Heritage Auctions and then subsequently embedded. There were seven Kapton displays and five plug displays, all of which have been sold. Key and Hoppert had no connection to the eBay seller.

Here's a few sold items from the last day or two that are not yet removed from eBay's history (at the time of posting): - Apollo 14 flown heatshield plug lucite sold at $30.21 Nov 6: 122794881966
- STS-1 flown US flag presentation sold at $16.50 Nov 5: 263300213392
- Apollo 14 flown kapton foil lucite sold at $17.37 Nov 5: 263300096223
The seller is just copying other listings then putting them at ridiculous low buy-it-now prices to be snapped-up by bargain hunters. |

Appears they have now moved to autographs. Nice Apollo 1 signed by all three for only $24.81 (263300241583). Personally signed for his sister. Reported.

Just found two more listings and reported to eBay — they sure are busy making new ids. Guess the holiday season. Beware! Two brand new ids: 1 | 2. |

This is out of control. Last week I saw a Chinese seller (perhaps the same one?) relisting a framed presentation featuring a vintage small signed B&W photo of von Braun. It had sold at a very nice price the week before, and then, viola, identical item relisted (with original listing photos) but now shipping from China.Caveat emptor... |

Yep - I've seen then too. I suspect it's one seller, and yes, he's out of control. I've reported every such item I've seen to eBay. |

The Apollo 14 Lucites are still popping up, this morning in my email notifications for eBay searches there was one with a buy it now of $20.00. As fast as he lists them eBay takes them down. |
