I am looking for opinions in trying to authenticate a Apollo 8 photograph with crew autographs. Any thoughts would be appreciated. |

Not sure about the Lovell signature. |

Most of the Lovell autographs I see finish with him underlining the autograph. I have found a few where he did not, and was wondering if that was an earlier signature? |

That was my reasoning. It looks a bit untidy compared to his usual elegant style, but as you say, it could be an earlier style or perhaps a rushed signature. |

I feel the Lovell signature looks fine. If you compare it with his Gemini 12 or even his Apollo 8 signatures signed at the time of the mission this looks spot on to me. I had to pick threw several GTA-12 MITROGS (Master in Recovery of Gemini Spacecraft) certificates to get one clean clear James Lovell signature. It would seem his clean flowing style came with age. |

Hey, thanks for your thoughts. I will be posting a better image in the next few days, and hopefully the signatures will be a bit clearer. |
