I am offering for sale on behalf of the Schirra family, the 2024 Omega Speedmaster "First Omega in Space" on steel bracelet timepiece. This beauty is new in the box and has never worn or removed except for photos.

This particular watch was presented with gratitude to Suzanne Schirra by Raynald Aeschilmann, president and CEO of Omega. It was presented to pay homage to her father Walter Schirra Jr. who flew the first Omega on his historic Mercury flight thus starting a long tradition between NASA and Omega.

A typed hand signed letter on Omega stationary with envelope to Suzanne from R. Aeschlimann is included for ironclad provenance.

This "one of" spectacular presentation timepiece is being offered with all of its original packaging exactly as received from Omega.

Photos or any specifics will be happily provided upon request to anyone interested in a potential purchase.

I have chosen to post this watch on cS and to a few online groups first, before posting it to my website at Farthest Reaches.

The asking price for this presentation watch is $12,000, somewhat above its retail price but reasonable given its unique pedigree.

There are photos with additional general information easily found on Omega's website.

For more specific information or to purchase this Omega, please reach out to me by phone/text (310) 892-5150 or email.

As usual I like to thank my loyal supporters over the years and invite you all to visit Farthest Reaches.

Is this the 2012 "First Omega in Space" (311.32.40.30.01.001 with calibre 1861) or the 2024 version (310.30.40.50.06.001 with calibre 3861)?
