I am looking to part with this lovely piece that has been in my collection for a while.. keen to make some wall space available.

I am asking $1,750. Buyer pays Shipping and Handling.

Hasselblad Data Module flown on 19 Space Shuttle Missions

Flown Hasselblad DE-32 Data Module which was attached to the top of the Hasselblad 70mm film Data Recording Magazine as part of the Hasselblad 553 ELS Space Camera, carried on 19 Space Shuttle missions, measuring 3.5″ x 2.75″ x .75″, labelled: "Data Module Assy., SEF33101018-322, S/N 1063."

It flew on the first Hubble servicing mission and the first International space station assembly flight.

Beautifully mounted inside a 27.5" x 25.5" shadowbox along with its JSC parts removal tag, iconic photos of the Hubble Space Telescope and the first Space Station Assembly Flight, with corresponding full-size STS–61 and STS-88 mission patches. Below that are pins from each shuttle mission it flew on.

It also includes a printed NASA tracking manifest specific to this piece (mounted in a data wallet on the reverse), logging all 19 missions it flew on and its return to Hasselblad for refurbishment. In fine condition.

The Data Module Assembly prints 32 alphanumeric characters along the edge of each 70mm film frame at the time of exposure, indicating the date, time, film roll, frame number, and Shuttle mission number.

A superb, regularly flown piece of Shuttle hardware.

I remember this item has already been on eBay couple years ago. I also gave a bid on it but the seller put on a minimum bid so everytime I wanted to win it failed.

Now the item is listed again, but in my opinion, way too much is called for this (as I remember correct the double price).

All times are CT (US)
