In 1994, space shuttle Columbia lifted off on its 17th mission, STS-65, carrying in part 60,000 4 by 6 inch flags for the 25th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. The white flags each had NASA's logo for the milestone celebration.

Once back on Earth, the flags were mounted to 11 by 14 inch certificates that were inscribed:

This Apollo 11 25th anniversary flag was flown aboard the Orbiter "Columbia" STS-65, July 8-23, 1994 in commemoration of America's first Lunar Landing Mission.
The certificates includes a photo of the Apollo 11 Saturn V launch and both the Apollo 11 and STS-65 mission patches. A facsimile signature from then-NASA Administrator Dan Goldin completes the displays, which were individually inscribed to their recipients.

Today, these flown flags can sell for $50 to $1,000, depending on several factors. An example sold on eBay made out to a member of the NASA workforce sold for $50. The display presented to flight director Chris Kraft sold for $937.50 at Heritage Auctions in 2021. Those appear to be the two extremes.

The one I am offering here comes from astronaut Winston Scott's collection. He sold it, along with several other items, at an estate sale a number of years ago. I no longer have a good place to display it in my collection, so I am offering it here.

I am asking $250 plus shipping, given its provenance. Payment by PayPal (F&F if acceptable). You can have it in your hands before Apollo 11's 55th anniversary if acted on soon.
