I want to purchase one of the early Lion Brothers "identification bar" patches for the Approach and Landing Test. These were the small, rectangular patches (red, with white lettering, white edging, and gold border) that were intended to be used beneath the Shuttle Program patch to indicate locations, specialties, or crews.
Ultimately, this patch system was abandoned in favor of individual flight patches for each shuttle mission.
I'm looking for one of the original Lion Brothers "Approach and Landing Test" patches with the "tail" in the corner of the merrowed edge of the patch, not one of the Eagle One Aerospace reproductions that have the tail tucked into the merrowed edge.
Alternatively, I can trade for the ALT patch with one of the following Lion Brothers identification bars I have:
- Marshall Space Flight Center
- NASA Headquarters
- Space Shuttle Main Engine
- United States Air Force
Here is a thread about these patches (sometimes called "bars," "tabs" or "aprons").
