Looks to be mahogany with multiple coats of polyurethane for a high-gloss finish. The model stands 12 inches high with a 5.5 x 5.5 inch base. Complete solid wood, with a copper wire highlight representing the external tank liquid oxygen repressurization line. The shuttle stack removes from pegs on the base and the Orbiter vertical stabilizer fin removes on a metal pin. I will ship with these three pieces separated and individually wrapped for protection (you could easily permanently glue them in place if you wish). There are some similar models on eBay (although, in my opinion, not as well done as this one) selling from $75 - $140. Price: $40.00 + $11.95 postage ($24.95 overseas). PayPal.
