In addition to the two Paul Calle Apollo 11 Suiting Up signed and numbered limited edition prints that Michael Collins had previously signed, Mike has signed these four new prints. - Apollo 11 Suiting Up, Michael Collins signed. paper size 13" x 19"

Paul Calle was one of the original eight artists chosen by NASA in 1962 to document the American Space Program's Project Mercury. In a Space Art career that spanned more than 40 years, Calle covered Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, and Space Shuttle missions. Paul was the only artist present with the Apollo 11 crew of Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins on the morning of July 16, 1969 as they prepared for their historic mission to the Moon. His sketches of the Apollo 11 crew breakfast and Suiting Up stand as a visual record of the activities of that morning before the three astronauts launched into history.Each print is numbered in an edition size of 250 prints and 25 Artist Proofs. Mike has only signed a very small amount of the prints in each edition. The price for each print is $250. Email me for availability and price of Artist Proof prints. I purchased two Paul Calle prints, one of which is signed by Michael Collins. The images do not do these prints justice. My two prints are framed and proudly displayed. One of the my most favorite memories from attending Spacefest was the opportunity to meet Chris and his dad. Paul Calle had some amazing stories and is missed. |
