The painting is "The Earth is hit by a small comet whose head is about 10,000 miles in diameter", published on Coronet July 1947. 9 1/2" x 13 1/2", oil on board. With handwriting by Bonestell on the back of the board. Owned previously by the Starlog editor. In the original frame.

I cannot hold on to it as other art purchases happened in a very short span of time and you cannot always plan these sort of things.
