I posted this in the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation show thread and thought I'd post it here too. I'm getting several replica full sized Apollo gold visor moonwalker type helmets signed there and want to sell a couple to help pay for the trip (I am driving 2000 miles round trip). If anyone was interested I could get any ASF attendee you want. Here's what I have and the prices. These are full sized, wearable helmets. - Red Striped gold visor Apollo Commander helmet-perfect for Lovell or Cernan - $900 plus autograph cost shipped to you in U.S.
- Non striped gold visor Apollo Moonwalker helmet. Perfect for Bean, Duke, Haise or Mitchell - $850 plus autograph cost shipped in U.S.
These are one of the nicest signed items you will ever find. I've had a couple signed already. They are a what I call a showstopper. If you're like me and sick of the same signed photos, then you'd probably love this. |

Who is making (or made) the replica helmets? Do you have any photos of their work? |

I forgot I also have a very nice authentic looking replica Apollo launch (IVA) glove that I was going to get signed by Jim Lovell and resell. If anyone's interested in that, I'd probably want to get $550 for it as it is quite nice. I got it off someone who made it on here. Just to be clear on the helmets, I only want to sell one of the commander helmets and possibly the non-commander helmet. I'm keeping at least one for myself and am considering getting Alan Bean for myself, though the cost of the trip may make me want to sell it. |

The Commander helmet is now sold. The non-commander helmet is still available at $850 plus autograph cost. Perfect for Bean, Duke, Haise or Mitchell. The replica Apollo launch glove is still available at $550 pus autograph cost. Perfect for any Apollo astronaut at the ASF show. I'm getting it signed on the sleeve with a mission. The sleeve doesn't lend itself to long inscriptions but a signature and mission will fit fine.

Last chance to get who you want on a full size replica helmet or launch glove before I leave for Florida in a week. If no one on here wants them I'll probably just get Lovell on the glove and Bean on the helmet. |
