One Giant Leap, Inc. release "Honoring our Astronauts in Uniform"On behalf of One Giant Leap Inc., I would like to thank both Tim Gagnon and Jorge Cartes for helping us over the years with our "Military in Space" patches. Without their input, guidance and talents they would not have been made. To honor our veterans this November, a limited number of 8x10 photos and a few 16x20s were created to salute the men and women who has served this country with honor and dedication and to showcase the artwork and dedication of the artists.  For a donation of $25 or more, I will send you out an 8x10 photo with the proceeds going to Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital here in Bedford, MA. These prints would come in handy for autograph's shows, special events and for that time when you need something signed by an astronaut! A check can be made payable and mailed to: One Giant Leap Inc.

There is still time to get in on the free shipping. I just got a set back with just one signature on it (the photos are in transit to another astronaut) and it looks awesome with the gold ink.Just let me know if you are interested or want to see a scan with a autograph on it. |

Yesterday, this good friend sent me a scan with the first signature in gold pen. Contrasting with the black background, this really is something to look at (and own).

Thanks!Remember today is the last day to receive free shipping. I am still aways off to reach the goal of $1000 before the end of December. Thank you for your support of our Veterans. Update: We ended up at 50% of goal but we will continue to keep everyone updated as we get closer and as autographs are added. |

Update time. We have raised $600, with two astronauts signing so far. It takes awhile to mail the prints and get them back. It looks really great so far. I will extend the no shipping fee until the Dec. 21. I really want to raise the money for hospital. It will be earmarked for the homeless programs. Veterans should never be homeless. There will only be 25 8x10 prints made and a few 16x20 for more generous donors, so order them now. I am still shooting for a mid-January release. If you have questions about the print, about the money, the VA, please ask. Please help me make this Holiday season just a little better for our men and women who served our country with honor and courage. |

It looks like I will not be making the Christmas deadline of a $1,000 donation due to lack of sales. Let's hope when all five are on the print and I display it, sales will increase and as soon as I reach the goal the funds will go to them. I know it is a unique piece and that only certain collectors would want it but I was hoping for more purchases before the holidays. We have three astronaut visits this winter and fall that also could benefit from the sales. Thank you all and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! |

I have a test 16x20 signed by 13 astronauts for sale for $200 plus shipping.Signed by Readdy, Spring, Duffy, Creighton, Ham, Hoot Gibson, Zamka, Melnick, Bobko, Fred Gregory, Ross, McBride and McCulley. It shows wear and handling. Scans available. |

Update!!!The prints are with the last astronaut (Brian Duffy) and should be ready to go in two weeks. I have about 10 left (out of 20). Please fill out the order form that is in the earlier updates. As soon as the prints come back, I will be donating $1000 to our local VA Hospital to help our homeless vets. So please help them out by ordering your print today. $100 per print will go along way to help our vets and to help One Giant Leap to continue bring astronauts (Bowen, Williams, D. Thomas to name some) up to New England this winter and spring. |

I want to thank our supporters so far. We have sold about 11 prints with most of them being from our friends from overseas.I was told by the VA hospital people that when they heard we were donating a thousand dollars, it sparked a few new donors and it came just in time to make the holidays nicer for the homeless Vets. A photo op, plus a 16x20 print will be presented next week. Thank you! |

Received my signed 10X8 today. All I can say is "WOW!" Beautiful signatures and quality photo. Great job! Having my son currently serving in the Army and my dad a retired Colonel, it fits right into the mancave. Plus it benefits our injured heroes. |

Errors for sale now. $40 each! We have about six 8x10 prints that have some errors on it and are missing a signature. So if you wanted to help out but could not afford a perfect one then this is one for you. One astronaut signed them in the wrong spot and the Navy astronaut signature is missing on them as well. The condition of the prints are in excellent condition. If interested, I will send a scan. Add $6 shipping to anywhere in the world. Thank you. |

I want to thank you all for supporting us. I will be bringing a check for $1000 up to the Bedford MA VA Homeless Veterans Program this Friday. In addition, the funds will also be helping to bring an astronaut up to Massachusetts and do a school visit with the school and students not paying a dime.All 8x10 deals and such are off of eBay but I still have a five left that if sold will help bring another astronaut up and for them to do a school visit with no cost to them. On Feb. 26, 2015, Bryan McKay, president of the educational non-profit One Giant Leap. Inc., presented a check for $1,000 to Dawn McKenna of the Bedford VA Research Corp. The proceeds were raised from a special autograph print signed by five former astronauts who also served in the military. In addition a special 16x20 print was created for the men and women at the VA.  Pictured from left to right is Bryan McKay, Dawn McKenna and Dr. Ben Cipolloni of BRCI. We still have a few prints left. One Giant Leap Inc. was created to help bring astronauts up to our schools and for community events to help stir the imagination of our youths to "Reach For the Stars" in math, science and any other thing they want to do in life. The errors are now at $6 each. I have a 16x20 print made up and so far I am up to 17 astronauts signing it. The Army, Navy and Air Force are all tied with five autographs each. Really neat on the print and in good shape so far. I am looking forward to adding more to it. |

Save the date! 30 new prints will be created with a new astronaut picture and five new astronauts to sign. Hint: four shuttle guys and one women. All proceeds to to benefit a Colorado Based Veterans Group doing great work. Our goal is to raise $5000, so each print will be $200. Yes it might be expensive but well worth it.
