mikelarson Member Posts: 293 From: Port Washington, NY Registered: Jan 2005	posted 10-27-2012 10:58 PM Can anyone point me to a nice high-resolution image of the Apollo 13 damaged service module? The most famous image that everyone has is the one I am looking for. Thinking of printing one at 16x20 and want to make sure the image doesn't come out too grainy and most the ones I found on the web had low resolutions. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

LM-12 Member Posts: 3207 From: Ontario, Canada Registered: Oct 2010	posted 10-28-2012 05:10 AM I think the "most famous image" of the damaged service module will always be grainy because it is cropped from a larger photo - either 8500 or 8501. Photo 8476 is a rather unique view of the top of the service module. The damaged section is in shadow. http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/images/print/AS13/58/8476.jpg
