Any Interest in a Rand McNally Lunar Map (1960's) postmarked and canceled with dated stamps marking each Apollo Landing Site, and additionally signed by Neil Armstrong in 1971 in Ohio?

Looking for a value and a possibly to sell... Anyone interested?

Joe

Only probably most everyone on this site

Value depends on a lot of things like whether its personalized and what shape the map is in. I would think it being stamped and postmarked would detract a bit from the value but I wouldn't think a value of anywhere from 1-3 thousand would be out of the question - maybe more if its really nice and on a good day, maybe less if its in rough shape, personalized, ugly, etc..

It's really completely dependent on how good it looks, so without a pic everyone's going to be grabbing at straws. This is the place to ask though.

I'm not big on postmarked items but that's a very nice item. I don't think I was far off on the 1-3000 range, but if you get a couple people who want it maybe you'd get more. An auction house might get more for it but they'll take like 18-20% and you'll have the uncertainty of what exactly it'll sell for.

I'm sure there are others on here who will give you a more informed opinion than mine and maybe some offers for it.
