The seventh in my series of my Grumman Lunar Module patches (as discussed in this thread) is now ready: LM-9, intended as the Apollo 15 Lunar Module when the mission was scheduled to be the last of the H-class flights. When Apollo 15 was re-classified as the first of the extended stay J-class missions the spacecraft was no longer required and is now on display at the Kennedy Space Center. The patch is fullly-embroidered and measures 4" (102mm) across. If you want to buy one of these patches please go to the Replica Store page of my CrewPatches.com site (hit refresh if you don't see the patch available). As before, worldwide delivery of this patch is included for free as an introductory offer. |
