Now that they've bumped the next shuttle flight by a week and a half, does anyone have Causeway tickets that perhaps don't fit into your schedule anymore? The rescheduled launch falls squarely in the middle of our already-planned Florida/Disney vacation. My 4-year-old son is a big space nut (he sleeps in a shuttle bed and wants to be an astronaut) so I wanted to take him to see the launch. I thought I'd check here before hitting ebay. Cheers! |

Good to see that this has turned out to be good news for someone. My flight schedule had me in Orlando for the 19th, for which I had tickets, and I have just managed to wangle my way onto the flight to have me there for the 29th. I won't be able to do that again!I got my tickets through Gator/Gray-Line and if you go and look at their FaceBook page there are several people offering to offload there VIP Causeway tickets at face value. But be quick, I say! |

Oh, and Gator are well aware that people are doing this and they are saying nothing. I think they would rather this than see them sold on eBay for profit. As far as I am aware all you have to show as you board the bus is your ticket AND boarding pass. |

Do the passes through Gator require you to travel from Orlando? I have reservations in Titusville so I guess I'll need KSC tickets and a vehicle placard if we're to watch from the compound. |

Gator Tours has different pick-up sites around the Orlando area. They've also had a pick-up site in Titusville for a while, but for this launch the site has been moved to the Merritt Square Mall parking lot on Merritt Island, south of KSC. They've done this so they can bypass the stand-still traffic congestion in Titusville after the launch. If going with Gator, you'll need to call and confirm your pick-up site with them to guarantee your reservation. |

I have four (4) adult NASA Causeway viewing tickets including four (4) two-day passes to the KSC Visitor Center that my sister and cousin can no longer use. (I was able to buy six, in total. My wife and I will still be using the remaining two tickets.)I will provide the four unused tickets at cost to collectSPACE members ($165 each). I will not pass on the cost of tax, and I will ship them free of charge within the domestic U.S. PayPal is preferred. The four available tickets are through Gray Line / Gator Tours. The pick-up point is currently set to the Orlando Doubletree International Drive. I think any takers would be able to reschedule a different pick-up point by contacting Gray Line. I have checked with them and all they ask is to know how many bus seats they need to reserve. Send me an email via this collectSPACE forum if you are interested, and I will answer any questions you may have. Once the four tickets are spoken for, I will repost here to make that fact known. - Dave |

Dave, I have some info you may want to pass on to anyone interested in your tickets. It seems they must board the bus with you at your designated pick-up site. I just called Gator Tours twice, (once on the FL number and then on the 1-800 number) and was told both times there will positively be no changes allowed in the pick-up site choices, and all tickets must be accompanied by the boarding pass that was issued with the tickets. No exceptions. The reps stressed this extremely. They both said no more boarding passes would be issued and anyone with a ticket attempting to board a bus without the proper boarding pass would not be allowed on the bus. This news ruined my day! I was about to email you about one of your tickets and then get a reservation for the Merritt Mall pick-up site as Orlando is not an option for me! I'll call them back in a few days. It seems unlikely, but maybe enough people will complain and the situation will change. If so, I'll contact you about a ticket...if you have any left! |

Does anyone have launch viewing tickets for STS-134, in which they are willing to sell? I will appreciate any offers. Editor's note: Threads merged.

Confirmed, Rob. Thank you for the added information. Earlier today I emailed Gator Tours and they replied by saying that the new ticket holders will need to keep the same pick up point as the one I originally set. The pick-up location associated with my four (4) Causeway tickets is: Doubletree International Resort 10100 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819 |

Look at my post near the top and go and look at Gator's FB page. They are condoning the re-sale of tour tickets but asking that they be advertised on their FB page. Some people are commenting that they intend to use their VIP tickets as regular entry tickets on the 19th. They must be very wealthy because at $165 each that's way more than normal. Make them an offer they cannot refuse... face value! |

My four tickets are now taken. I found a buyer on Gator's Facebook discussion forum (the one mentioned in crash's April 5th post). That forum seems to be fairly active for both buyers and sellers. For those interested, Gray Line / Gator has posted these guidelines for transferring tickets. |

I'm still looking for two tickets since I've had a couple of options fall through. I'm particularly interested in the Gator tours that would pick up at Disney. |

I hate to say this, but check eBay. Right now, it's your best bet. It's a long shot, but you could ask your Congressional rep, but I don't know if they take request this late. |

My Congressman's office had none, but I got lucky thanks to Crash's recommendation to use Gator's Facebook page. Many, many thanks to him for that link!! I got two VIP Causeway tickets from Disney to the Cape - just what I needed - for face value. The demand seems to be going up there every day, so I'm not sure how many are left. You can try StubHub and some of these other re-sellers, but some of the prices are stupidly high. If you're willing to drive or stay in the Cape area, you'll have more options for free viewing areas, as some recommended here and over on the STS-134 viewing thread. |

I have one extra NASA Causeway viewing ticket on Gray Line departing from Victoria Square Plaza on Merritt Island at 6:00am if anyone is interested. You'll have to board the bus with me since I have only one boarding pass. I would just like to recoup what it cost me, $175.00. Please reply to bill.whiting@sbcglobal.net |

I may have a causeway ticket for sale, is there anyone interested? Just post back here, or e-mail me. The person who owns the ticket will be in Florida by Wednesday. |
