Arrived today, 10/31. That's a nuclear-blast/Fukushima-proof type of packaging! I don't know what required more effort: the packaging or the trips to the post office!.A very neat item. Thanks a lot. |

Received today! Very impressed with the poem and will definitely be framing that with an appropriate photo at some point.I thumbed through the book a bit and was really intrigued by some of what I read. I could probably rip through this in one sitting, but unfortunately I have to set it aside and concentrate on some work stuff for the next week. Can't wait to get into it. Thanks Steve for all of your efforts in putting this all together! |

Frederick, yours was sent five days ago. Evan, you are in this last group which I'm packing currently. I estimate 20 or so books to ship before my list is cleared. There are some people who asked for a copy to be reserved and did not follow up by sending payment. Obviously, they will not be receiving books. The question of when payment was made is not really the correct question as most of these books were preorders from collectors who wanted to ensure they received the complimentary insert. As I have posted before, the books themselves did not become available to anyone until the first days of September as Al's visit to the West Coast for the Farthest Reaches signing did not occur until the end of August. I thank everyone for their patience and trust you are pleased with the condition in which your books were received as well as with the hand signed insert. If any questions, don't hesitate to call me directly or email... |

The Pony Express finally arrived in Aggieland on Friday and delivered my book. The lack of plentiful watering holes in Texas probably slowed down the horses. Thanks for making this signed book available to us, Steve. |

You guys crack me up. Seems I'm known as the guy who's developed bombproof packaging. I'm just thrilled that your books are coming to you in such perfect condition but lets hope we never need to test the bombproof protective qualities of my packaging (lol). I AM confident in saying that no one packs more securely then Farthest Reaches and hope that is reassuring to you all, as we know just how fragile these items can be. Thanks for all of your kind words. They are very very appreciated... |

Paul and everyone, with one or two exceptions that those of you impacted are aware of, all books have now been shipped. Paul, yours was just posted and should arrive shortly. If any of you were expecting to receive copies, have paid in full but have not yet received your book, please contact me via e-mail in order for me to troubleshoot. There are still copies remaining if anyone would care to order. I have not yet adjusted the asking price of $29.95 and remember, each copy comes with a hand signed Al Worden poem being published for the first time ever. Thanks to everyone for your unwavering support and Happy Thanksgiving to you all... |
