I am pleased to announce that I am accepting orders for the seventh patch in my "Celebrating 50 years of America in Space" series. This patch honors those who made our first space station possible. You'll notice that I tried to capture the mustard color of the flight suits in this emblem as well as use earth tones to capture the fact that in Skylab we turned our attention to our Sun our planet and ourselves. This is an 8" partially embroidered patch using black twill for the background to allow the crew patch artwork to be highlighted. I expect this to be a limited edition issue based on my past experience. It is conceivable that I will not order more than 250 in all. This will also be the final issue of this series this calendar year. In 2010 watch for the following designs: - "Ad Astrum - Intelligendo" from Space comes Understanding - celebrating International Copperation from Apollo-Soyuz to the ISS.
- The Space Shuttle - A Generation of Exploration - another monster sized 12" patch.
- "Constellation" - Moon, Mars and Beyond
Please complete the order form and send it in along with your payment. Thank you for your continued support. Tim |

I must admit I was hoping for a bit more of a reaction to this announcement and that I would have ordered these from the embroidery company by now.Is there any interest besides the handful of orders I have received? |

The Space Store has been one of my biggest supporters in showcasing my "Celebrating 50 Years of America in Space" commemorative patches. They have recently honored me with my own page on their website.Have a look and thank all of you for helping me realize this dream. |

Tim, the Skylab patch looks great! Will contact you offline with an order. As for your own page we also have a dedicated page inspired after meeting you in May and doing a bit of trade. See separate pages for your Ares souvenirs and commemoratives, Nick Spaceman |

Tim, please bear in mind that there are a number of your collectors, who, because they live outside of the USA are unable to order your patches directly from your good self, but must deal through an external provider. There are therefore many more purchasers of your patches than may seem apparent from your own personal initial orders. I for one, would be happier to deal with you direct...if that were an option. |

Are there Skylab Commemorative patches anywhere still for sale? - I am an Austrian, living in Germany at the moment and the patch is in the space store out of stock. It is the only patch of the "Celebrating 50 years of America in Space" series I don´t have... |
