Farthest Reaches is pleased to announce that we will be carrying copies of "Into That Silent Sea" signed by both Francis French and Wally Funk. Wally has hand signed each copy " Best Wishes, Wally Funk, 'The Two Wallys'. " This was done as a unique favor, as Wally generally only signs her first name, making these copies extra special.
In addition, these copies have been signed using a Fisher Space Pen which belonged to Wally Schirra, that was generously loaned by his family specially for these signings. Francis has handwritten in each copy "Signed with Wally Schirra's Fisher Space Pen."
A very limited number of copies also have a third signature - co-author Colin Burgess, who signed them on a prior US visit: first-come, first-served.

Prior to flying out of Los Angeles on our way home from the recent ASF show at KSC, I met up with Steve Hankow and countersigned a bunch of books for him, using the same Wally Schirra space pen that Francis had earlier used to sign these books. As Steve mentioned in his earlier post, many of these books are also signed by either Dee O'Hara or Wally Funk. So Steve now has a limited supply of dual author-signed copies of "Into That Silent Sea," with some carrying a bonus signature from one of our two favourite ladies of space. |

I am happy to say that Colin is correct. Farthest Reaches does have a limited supply of both books hand signed by both Colin and Francis. All copies are signed using Wally Schirra's Fisher Space Pen making them quite unique in that respect. Additionally, a number of copies are hand signed by Dee O'Hara or Wally Funk. Pricing has changed somewhat over the last few years since these books were published. Copies signed by Colin and Francis = $35
