Some of the people inducted into the International Aerospace Hall of Fame at the San Diego Air & Space Museum this weekend signed copies of books that day for the guests to purchase. I was delighted to find that the organizers had selected "In the Shadow of the Moon" for Gene to sign (it includes the story of his life, detailing his first two flights) and he was more than happy to sign copies.There are a VERY limited number of copies still available in the store for purchase, along with signed copies of Patty Wagstaff's autobiography "Fire and Air" (with an introduction by Al Worden). No extra charge is being asked for signed copies. Patty Wagstaff books are still available, but the Gene Cernan books are now all sold out. Judging by the sales spike, it was because of this website - good to know! Thanks! |

I just asked the store and they told me no, it was a large number of individual calls for single copies - great to know they are getting into good hands, and - wow! Sold out in two hours! |
