I am planning to list this Questar Standard 3.5", f/14.4, Maksutov Cassegrain Telescope for sale on eBay or Astromart this week, but thought I would give cS readers a first chance at it. Included is the original leather carrying case, original manual, a star chart barrel sleeve (pictured), 80-160x eyepiece and tripod legs. The telescope has a built-in equatorial motor with power cord. Also included is a tripod (pictured) for which I do not have details other than to say that it was purchased and used with the telescope. General information about the Questar Standard 3-1/2 Telescope is available here. According to that site, the original sale price was $4,250. If you are interested, or have questions regarding the telescope, please contact me at robert@collectspace.com. |

Beautiful scope Robert. If a cS member doesn't take it you should definitely go with Astromart instead of ebay (IHMO). Terry ! |

Hello Robert,I did some research for you; here is the only listing on ebay for the last 30 days. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230111024323 Ebay is not the ticket for this item. You would do better on astromart. I sold my meade 200 LX GPS 12" for top dollar on astro. If you decide to go with Ebay let me know and I can give you all the information you need as I have all the resources you can get for ebay. Good-luck |

Thanks, Scott. There's one on eBay right now and another recently sold. That said, I am reading about Astromart, their services, and considering them as a venue (if it does not sell here first). |

The reason that first one didn't sell is because the seller did one of those "email me and you can buy it now" scams. That item may have been pulled by ebay. |

Hello Robert,I put in the wrong information on your telescope, I would still go to Astromart to sell, you will get a better price for it. Pastor Scott
