This week (Jan. 28-30, 2025), SpaceCom held its annual global commercial space conference and exposition at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. The event was held in collaboration with the 51st Space Congress and was collocated with the Space Mobility Conference and GSA Spaceport Summit. One of my favorite sections was, of course, the big Space Expo with more than a hundred participating military space organizations, commercial industries, and other space-related vendors. Shown here are just a few of the Expo gifted-handout souvenirs to the hundreds and hundreds of show attendees. My favorite of them, pictured at top right, is the small packet of Artemis (LHS-1E) engineering-grade simulated lunar dust by Space Resource Technologies (SRT). Also note the nice 10th anniversary patch/coaster of SpaceCom along with a few heavy medallion-like pins. Did anyone else attend the conference? I did run into our own Tim Gagnon on the first day of the expo, the patch designer for the 51st Space Congress along with a few other folks, one being a space collector who knows of cS. |
