A star-studded event awaits on March 31, as Space Center Houston celebrates its monumental 25th anniversary with the Galaxy Gala, led by chairs Keith and Alice Mosing and Kim and Dan Tutcher.
Proceeds will support the nonprofit center's extensive educational programs serving youth from around the world with exceptional science learning experiences. The center is owned and operated by the Manned Space Flight Education Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization.

"This fabulous evening will support our robust educational programs which are inspiring young minds to pursue future careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics," said Space Center Houston CEO William T. Harris, who also is president of the Manned Space Flight Education Foundation.
Joining the spectacular event will be honorary co-chairs astronaut Scott Kelly and Amiko Kauderer along with astronaut and shuttle commander Mark Kelly and former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona. A special tribute will recognize longtime supporters Susie and Pat Cunningham for their significant contributions to further the center's mission to inspire all generations through the wonders of space exploration.
The elegant affair will include a space-themed fashion show, one-of-a-kind NASA artifact displays, dinner, dancing and a performance by the Lt. Dan Band, led by award-winning actor Gary Sinise, who starred in the hit film "Apollo 13."
Guests will raise a glass in support of the science and space learning center's educationally focused mission, meet astronauts and dance the night away at this cosmically special evening. To purchase tickets and sponsorship tables, visit Space Center Houston's website.
