Thanks for posting this. I just ordered the poster. I only live 90 minutes from Huntsville. I'm going to try and make this conference.------------------ Kraig McNutt, Publisher Today in Space History http://www.TodayinSpaceHistory.com |

What is the chance there will be opportunities for autographs from the Astronauts at this event after their panels? Or do they usually decline?Mark |

An update on the symposium's website dated December 30 provides the following: Many of the people presenting at the symposium will be signing the official symposium poster after each panel. Outstanding opportunity to collect signatures from history makers. |

The listing on the 31st is for a now-sold out black-tie gala. The Feb. 1-2 event is for the separate technical symposium described by this thread. |

Another collectSPACE member and I are planning to attend the event in Huntsville on February 1-2. We would like to meet up with other collectSPACE members. It would be neat to get a portrait of collectSPACE members with an astronaut to post on collectSPACE sightings. Hopefully the astronauts will be willing to sign autographs? Anyone else planning to attend this event? Thank you. |
