Centuries from now, people will look back at key moments during the 1960s and 70s, when 12 American astronauts first left planet Earth and walked on the moon, as some of the most pivotal events in world history. In Apollo: The Race Against Time, Save Our History host Steve Thomas explores how significant artifacts of NASA's Apollo missions are being restored and preserved. http://www.saveourhistory.com/tv_schedule/index.html

Preserving Space History is very important for our Next Generation. I drove to DC last weekend and had to chance to see Dave Scott's Apollo suit, and the Apollo 11 Module (among other space items)at the Smithsonian. IT WAS AWESOME. I am very sure that many of you have felt the same thing ... I reached over where the Apollo 11 module was and touched the glass encasing it ... and I said to myself 'Wow, this is the one that brought Apollo 11 back home!' ... It was a Great Feeling | |
