About 450 feet above the ground, painters repaired and repainted portions of the flag defaced by a pair of hurricanes that slammed the east coast of Florida in 2004.

After eight months of work since the hurricanes, it's amazing how much they've done in the week and a half since AHOF. There were still crews working constantly everytime I saw the VAB that weekend.------------------ http://allthese worlds.hatbag.net/space.php "America's challenge of today has forged man's destiny of tomorrow." - Commander Eugene Cernan, Apollo 17 Mission, 11 December 1972 |
