Hello Everyone,Wanted to update the collectSPACE community that Nolan and I have secured the place and date for the next Sims/Hankow Autograph Show. It will again focus on SPACE and we intend to beat the last show for great guest signers although that's not going to be an easy task. Feedback was so postive about the banquet on Saturday night that we're doing a repeat performance and making it even bigger so no one gets turned away. The comments and critical but thoughtful feedback following our last show was most appreciated with some being implemented this next time around. Ok, Ok, enough of my rambling on.... The City: Los Angeles, California The Venue: Hilton Burbank Airport & Convention Center Website is: www.burbankairport.hilton.com The Dates: Sept.4-5, 2004 (Saturday/Sunday) Rooms are already blocked and can be booked at this time for $99 per night by asking for the "Autograph Show Rate" Any person booking a room on Friday evening will get free admission to Saturday's show. Likewise, any person booking a room on Saturday evening will get a free admission to Sunday's show. If you can attend only one space related in person event in 2004, we hope it's ours. We're not gonna let you down. It's going to be an event to remember.... Best, Steve Hankow Farthest Reaches www.farthestreaches.com Sims/Hankow www.autographshows.net

These are the good old days!It is shaping up to be a tremendous year for space enthusiasts. Live pictures from Mars in January, followed by several astronaut gatherings... and an eventual return of the shuttle launches! So, this one is going to be on the left side of the country, huh?! Noah |

Steve,GOE = Gathering of Eagles. That is an annual event up in Lancaster where all the test pilots come together. Last year they celebrated the 50th anniversary of the B-52. I think this year they are celebrating the Century Series of fighter aircraft in honor of the century of flight. It is usually followed by the Edwards AFB air show. ------------------ Warm Regards Douglas Henry Enjoy yourself and have fun.... it is only a hobby! |
