Began Sunday

Part 1: Politics keep space program going in circles http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/space/2002659

Part 2 (today): The Space Shuttle gives astronauts something to do. http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/topstory/2003630

Part 3 (tomorrow): The Space Station gives the Shuttle someplace to go.

In my opinion a long overdue examination of the space program in its current state.
