Good news. A new auction house will have a Space Exploration Auction on April 12 of next year. The auction house is Swann Auction Galleries located in New York City. This Gallery is a long established one and has held Art,Autograph and Poster auctions to name a few. They state they will be selling signed potraits,first day covers,letters,charts, maps,manuals,signed and unsigned photos, equipment and artifacts related to the US and Russian Space Program. They also say they will have flown ifrom Astronauts and their families. The gallery is located at 104 East 25th Street in Manhattan their phone number is 212-254-4710 ask for George Lowery. I emailed the chappie at the weekend re. consigning and ordering a catalog, and now some 3 days later haven't yet had a reply. I guess we can add them to the ever growing list of non-communicative auction houses.Joe |

Swann's a pretty lean organization who does a good job with their vintage poster auctions (my other area of collection); my dealings with them have always been pretty professional and courteous - I'd try to give 'em a bit more time before you write them off. |
