Finally. Make sure you scroll down and read abut the reception too.

Col. Worden is pleased to announce his second annual private signing hosted once more by Al Hallonquist and assisted by Steve Zarelli. We will take mail items for signatures beginning on January 7th until the close off and drop dead date of January 23rd. (Address for reception to be announced). The fee structure is as follows:

Basic Signature (includes photos up to 11x14, covers, books and other small items and single signature items only) $50

Apollo 15 completion items (including books where its a sole completion): $100

Multi signed items, specialty and large items (pics over 11x14, beta clothes and bulky things): $75

Personalizations (to someone specific) Free BUT single signature fee applies.

Lengthy inscriptions: $10 per word (Date(s) of mission $10 flat also)

His book(s): $10

Adding Apollo 15 CMP: $5

As you can see, some of the prices have come down somewhat. I'm trying.

Also, last year we mentioned the Colonel is going to begin marketing his photography as art work from his Apollo 15 mission. In some rare instances some test pieces have been sold and the response is OVERWHELMING! So in this light, and in conjunction with this years signing, we are also pleased to annouce a Gallery Showing of his art, and a reception the night before.

At this reception you can get a sneak preview of the photographic art (it is AWESOME - believe me) and of course purchase any you like, and bring your items to be signed at the reception as well with the above price structure. Here is the information on the reception and gallery showing:

January 31, 2003 Reception 7PM until 10PM

February 1st and 2nd, 2003 Gallery Showing 10AM until 5PM

to be held at:

Uncle Al's Time Capsule
140 E. 4th Avenue
Mount Dora, Florida 32757-5584
(352) 383-1958 www.sign-here.com

This will be held in conjunction with a HUGE Arts Festival in Mount Dora, a small artsy town northwest of Orlando. As it draws a bunch of people we would suggest contacting local motels for reservations NOW. The next largest town is Sanford, Florida and of course, its not far from the I-4 corridor of Orlando. Also, Leesburg and Eustis are not too far either. Make it a long weekend and enjoy Disney/Universal and heck Gatorland too! <G>

Al Wittnebert, our host for the reception and gallery showing is a well respected autograph dealer with over 30 years of professional experience and is the Secretary - Treasurer of the UACC. Not to mention a super neat guy with a huge selection of items. He is also an accomplished framer and will offer framing for any of the Colonel's photographic art if you desire, with shipping.

For those overseas, look for a possible announcement about an appearance in England, hopefully to be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Al

Way to go on this.... Al sur is a class act and I'm glad we chatted for a while at the Aurora acution last spring. I may be able to make it to Florida for this but more likely I'll travel there next fall... Keep up the good work Al!

Thanks for all the kind words.

I did fail to mention, that the order form for your items will be available on the website www.alworden.com as soon as my "webmaster" can update it. He's been slammed at his real job.

Or you can email me direct and Ill send it to you. Remember no orders prior to January 5th, 2003.

Thanks!

Would be good to see some faces after spending so long looking at user names and if Wayne Edelman comes over it would be a nice friendly US/UK gesture to bring his "Holy Grail" as a gift for me.

A CollectSpace get together at Autographica is a very good idea. I should be there all three days. Perhaps we can get together, either at a certain time during the day or for those of us staying at the hotel after the show ends, to say hi and put faces to names.

Best wishes

A CollectSpace get together at the Autographica sound great Rob,Its only an idea, but would the organisers let the members use the CollectSpace logo or something at the Hotel (as a meeting point) so NASAMAD can buy them drinks for us. Ian

Haha, nice try Ian, but I just spent all my money on something for Worden to sign!

I'll be there on the Saturday only, and I usually only stay until the early afternoon, athough I hope to attend Al Wordens lecture this year.

Still I don't mind a round in with whatever money I have left (after I have trawled the stalls of course!)

I'll be there as well, I had a great time last year. Although this time I'll put enough money in the meter to stay for the lectures!

I'm not too sure what day I'll be there, probably Saturday as I'll be driving up from South London.

My heart bleeds for all you poor people who have to struggle to Northampton from somewhere else in England. Spare a thought for those of us who will have to fly from Belfast (and I'll have to drive for an hour just to get to the airport, not to mention the train journey from Birmingham airport!) What really irks me is that Al Worden was in Belfast in (I think) 1982, about 50 yards from my office, and I didn't hear about it until the next day!

Blackarrow,

I`m sorry...its an awful journey along the old M1.
Your right though I shouldnt moan. I havent got to fly .. and the drive. (You`ll probably get there quicker than me!! tried the M1 lately). Never mind I`ll buy you a drink when we eventually get there.

BlackArrow and others,

I'll be flying in from Helsinki to London, then travel by train to Northampton.. But I've already done it two years ago, and it was worth it! I just hope they will get a few more space guests to add to the list this year!

Frederic,
Looks like you win! Sounds even more difficult a journey than struggling along the M1 linear car-park.

Funny I remember when I went to Autographica 2000 and was standing in line to meet Alan Bean and get my items signed there was man two in front of me and was with Alan for quite a while and the chap standing next to me may even have been Gary King turned to me and said that he had come from Finland, just stuck out in my mind that he had travelled all this way. Alan was great that day and really took his time with everyone and was not fazed by the line that had built up to met him which was twice the size of any other that day
