Just like to say a fond farewell to the Russian Space Station Mir. It seems strange to think that it has been up there for 11 years of my life. Tomorrow it will be gone. I hope that it dies a dignified death in the ocean. Wish I could see it's final moments.
Goodbye Mir

Yeah, kind of sad, but I think that thing is pretty much used up! I just hope it doesn't take down the Russian space program.
Goodbye Mir!!!

Most of us saw the images of RKA controllers at the TSUP control center outside MOSCOW ... At a certain moment a group of them could be seen checking a Hardcover book specially published for the MIR return ... TSUP did publish small hardcover booklets for each Soyuz mission and published a special edition for the return of MIR ... I saw it available at http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1125135383 Good luck !
