On September 2, 2021, Firefly Aerospace conducted their first flight test of the Alpha rocket from SLC-2W at Vandenberg SFB, California. Unfortunately, the range terminated the flight after an engine anomaly occurred.

What is notable about this space cover is the postal cancellation. Vandenberg Air Force Base was renamed Vandenberg Space Force Base on May 14, 2021. The postmark shows the new Vandenberg SFB designation.

All times are CT (US)
