Space Cover #184: Soyuz 30 Intercosmos Cosmonaut

On June 27, 1978 the second Intercosmos cosmonaut was launched aboard Soyuz 30 to dock with the Salyut 6 space station. Along with Commander Pyotr Klimuk, Miraslaw Hermaszewski from Poland was launched as part of the Intercosmos Program.

The flight was the sixth to Salyut 6 and the fifth to successfully dock. Flight duration was 7 days, 22 hours, 2 minutes and 59 seconds.
