I finally heard from a contact at A-B Emblem, who are based in Weaverville, North Carolina, immediately north of Asheville. The whole area suffered catastrophic damage from the remnants of hurricane Helene, but thankfully she told me that all the A-B families are safe, although no-one had water or power for days afterwards, and some still have no services. She said everyone in the region is pulling together and helping each other, and they hope to have A-B itself working again at some level from next week. |

Thank you Chris. I had been making inquiries as well, but had not heard back (other than an update on their voicemail which noted they would be back up and running once water and power were restored). |
