Found an interesting bit of background on Swissartex Emblem Inc. from a snippet of a legal case from the early 1980s.Conrad Industries (A-B Emblem's parent company) was suing a former employee who was then the president of Swissartex for having taken and used their proprietary customer list when he left the company. Interesting info is that the company was first named Koenig Company, then became Swissartex on April 30, 1979. This explains why they suddenly appear on the space patch market around the time of the Shuttle program. |

Interesting find, Chris. Thanks for sharing.From what I could find, Willie Sonderegger, the former Conrad Industries employee turned Koenig Company president, died sometime prior to 2010. The family's heritage (he and his brother were born in Switzerland) must have inspired the name Swissartex... | |
