NASA's Psyche mission will journey to a unique metal-rich asteroid, also named Psyche, which orbits the Sun between Mars and Jupiter. The asteroid is considered unique, as it appears to largely be made of the exposed nickel-iron core of an early planet – one of the building blocks of our solar system.
A University of Arizona style guide describes the Psyche mission patch as follows:
This is the primary badge of the Psyche Mission. It consists of an abstract representation of the asteroid itself, and a container shape that holds the name and mission tagline.
A woven version of the patch was sold at NASA gift shops prior to the mission's launch being delayed from 2022 to 2023:
