According to the Skyforce Space Patches website the AB Emblem version of the SpaceX Resupply Service SpX-28 (208-4) patch is now available to buy via pre-order, and will then be available for dispatch from the week starting Monday 17th July.Update; This 4.5"x 4" patch is now available to buy direct from the AB Emblem website. The SKU patch design number is 456001, and the date codes are now confirmed as; - 456001 Made In USA 05/23 20 (on old style plane white labels)
- 456001 A-B Emblem Made In USA 05/23 20 (on new style A-B Emblem "crown logo" labels)
- 456001 Made In USA 06/23 20 (on old style plain white labels)

My patch seller in Germany sent me the attached photo. Supplier is A-B Emblem (design no. is 456001).I wrote him back the following: In your photo, half of the rear part of the Dragon (top right) is dark and the other part is gray; in the photo of the AB Emblem (error version), this part is completely dark gray, as is the border.Another "error patch?" Is there any information on this? |

Yes this does look like another different error version of the SpaceX CRS SpX-28 patch. Do you know which type of embedded label is on the back? (Is it with the new style A-B Emblem "crown" logo, or is it with the old style all white label?) (Answer below). Also what is the date code on this patch? (Answer below). |

Yes, Werner's SpX-28 patch is a new and different variant error. It has the following details on the embedded label: - 456001 A-B Emblem Made In China 07/23/40 (on new style A-B Emblem "crown logo" labels)

The CRS-28 patch has arrived.Dragon spaceship top right: - The outlines on the front part are clearly visible.
- One half of the rear part is light gray with five dark gray lines.
- The other half is dark gray with three black lines.
Back of the patch (white sticker): 456001
A-B EMBLEM
Made in China
07/23/40 In my opinion, this patch corresponds more closely to the NASA artwork as posted above and is therefore not a misproduction.

A-B Emblem has now supplied other CRS-28 patches to my German supplier. The SKU patch design number is 456001, and the date code is “Made In USA 05/23 20" (on old style white label). |
