In addition to representing the crew of Oleg Novitsky, Pyotr Dubrov and Mark Vande Hei, it is nice to see the patch recognize the April 2021 60th anniversary of human spaceflight. The mountain depicted is presumeably Mount Kazbek; Novitsky's chosen call sign is Kazbek. |

Normally next Friday the decision will be taken about MS-18 crew composition.I was told there is another version of the patch with Korsakov. I can understand the colours over Novitskiy are the colours of Belorussia. From Vande Hei side the colours are US national colours. What about colours from Dubrov side? |

From Sergei Korsakov (via Instagram): The Soyuz MS-18 crew has a replacement! In April 2021, NASA astronaut Mark Vande Hei is flying to the ISS as Flight Engineer-2 instead of me.In this composition, the crew backed up the Soyuz MS-17 crew, therefore such a late appointment would not affect the efficiency of their work. Mark is an excellent specialist, with whom I was privileged to work hand in hand in training in Houston and Star City, when we "shared" the right seat of the spacecraft, awaiting the decision of the space agencies. It was a real pleasure and great luck for me to prepare for a space flight with one of the most experienced cosmonauts Oleg Novitsky and my 2012 recruitment friend Peter Dubrov. It was very useful and interesting to observe the work of real professionals and learn from their experience. In fact, we had a well-coordinated crew of four for the ship, which has only three seats. We jokingly referred to this situation as the "Musical Chair" game. Now that the music has stopped, I want to wish the Soyuz MS-18 crew to successfully complete their preparations, make a beautiful start to the ISS, spend an unforgettable time there, and safely return to Earth! |

Congratulations, flying Dutchmen! Your 46th patch in a row aboard the ISS! My respect! There are two versions of the MS-18 patch aboard the ISS. Novitskiy has the version with Korsakov. Vande Hei, the version with him. I think Dubrov has the version with Korsakov as well as Novitskiy. Why?

In a pre-flight interview, Vande Hei said that he, Novitskiy and Dubrov considered Korsakov the fourth member of their crew and wore the patch with Korsakov's name to reflect that. In fact, during training, Vande Hei said he wore the patch with Korsakov's name and Korsakov vice versa. |

A description of the patch can be found on Spacepatches.nl: The Soyuz MS-18 crew patch prominently displays the spacecraft on a shield-shaped background. The spacecraft designation, the crew members names and the Roscosmos logo fill the top of the patch design. Blue and purple rays make up most of the background, symbolising the depths of the cosmos and the far reaches cosmonautics sets its sights on, both in science and in future destinations. Three yellow stars represent the three members of the crew. Soyuz's orbital target, the International Space Station is depicted as a silver silhouette. The lower end of the design is occupied by the Kazabek mountain, representing the call-sign of this mission. The patch border displays the flag of Belarus at the top for commander Novitskiy's nation of birth, the flag of the Russian Khabarovsk territory on the left representing cosmonaut Dubrov's origins and on the right are the USA's national colours for astronaut Vande Hei. The Russian flag is positioned on the spacecraft itself. A banner across the bottom of the design shows the years 1961 and 2021 and the number 60 in between, commemorating Yuri Gagarin's trailblazing first human spaceflight, six decades ago this year. The patch was designed by spacecraft commander Oleg Novitsky with Luc van den Abeelen, copyright Roscosmos. |

Got information from Zvezda plant ("Sokol" space suits) they prepared three landing version MS-18 patches with Klim Shipenko and Yulia Peresild to change the patches for the landing. Produced in Russia. They will go to the ISS with Soyuz MS-19 commander Anton Shkaplerov. Roscosmos did it in contact with Oleg Novitskiy. Only 20 to 30 were produced. |

Oleg Novitskiy, Yulia Peresild and Klim Shipenko all wore Soyuz MS-18 patches to return to Earth, but whether they differed from the launch version of the patch was hard to tell from the live coverage: |

I saw the same thing, but wasn't able to grab a screen shot. Thank you Robert. I'd say it's a different patch. Even though they are blurred, the characters in the names seem to be off from the launch patch. |

If all of them had the MS-18 patch it was the landing version with Peresild and Shipenko instead of Dubrov and Vande Hei.Plus white and blue border on the left of the patch — colours of Pskov (home town of Yulia). Colours of Russia on the right side. |

We, Glavkosmos, produced only 30 Soyuz MS-18 landing patches. Part of them was delivered to the ISS and the rest is available here. |

The international shipping is also available. Due to some technical reasons the cost of delivery is calculated by managers. You can place an order by 'buy in one click', leave you email and address and our managers will contact you to inform about terms of delivery. |

Thanks for the answer! Almost $27 shipping, it's expensive. It is more profitable to buy the same lot on eBay. |
