I saw this patch on eBay (324014896302), noticing it's described as a "commercial" Beta patch by Owens Corning.
I'm obviously aware of the Apollo 11 "commercial" patches such as the Roma Chemicals presentations and the Owens Corning version without the "Apollo 11," but I wasn't aware of other mission commercial beta patches.
Were there any or is this just described incorrectly?

Boxes full of these Apollo 11 beta cloth patches were apparently found in 2017. They were clearly intended as presentation pieces.
Well over 600 examples have been sold over the last few years.

Thanks Chris. Sorry I posted the wrong sale, it was this Apollo 8 patch I was questioning (eBay item 164029209509):
The item up for bid is a NASA Apollo 8 Beta Cloth Mission Patch. This comes from the patches that were available through Owens Corning.

That may have been part of an Owens-Corning framed Apollo Beta cloth set, as they were trimmed closely like that to fit behind the mat.

Great thank you. I hadn't spotted the Owens Corning framed commemorative presentation on Chris' excellent website. It all makes sense now.
